We are safe. At least for the next 12 (minus 1) days or so. That should give us comfortable buffer time for the weekend's wedding. And Lauren thought we were all going to die. Also, the rumour about mumps rendering 'Barnes & Nobles' (heh) sterile is not completely true. Happens rarely and only if the mumps cause a swelling of the testicles.
The weekend was good, walked the Big Walk and qualified at 1hr 35mins. I didn't win anything but I wished I had my camera along. Maybe next year. I won't bother trying to chase up the people in front, it's not like I'm going to win anything anyway. Might as well do something else productive.
