After days and days of stalking Toys R Us and Jaya Jusco, I finally found Barricade! There were just 2 left and lots of people browsing through. It looks like most of them are looking for Blackout and the Camaro Concept Bumblebee. I have been visiting both shops everyday on my way home from work. There have been almost daily additions and today I hit the jackpot! I got Jazz for my brother too. On Tuesday I got a tiny Starscream. It's not the Voyager nor Deluxe version but this small (Legend) version had nice detailing, no paint smudges, a robot mode that resembles the movie robot and a very nice vehicle mode.
I even had to brave the storm yesterday since I was coming home from Lembah Beringin and didn't take the bus and didn't want to park in Parking Hell One Utama. I like walking in the rain anyway. I did slip and fall down however, I should not jump over puddles onto slippery wet pavement. Knocked my knee a bit and dropped my favourite Wacoal umbrella. With the little cute cartoon gurl. But she was ok. Phew!
There were also a few Menasors (Rodimus Prime repaints) which I thought were kinda ugly, but those got snapped up too. It looks like there are a few non-movie specials that are coming out in conjunction with the movie toy offerings and these seem to be quite sought after by collectors. I am on the lookout for a Starscream and Grimlock from the new Classics series.
Anyway, I took some shots of the Legend Starscream, some old Beastwars toys and Barricade!

you want one, better tell me quick, if i see one on my rounds i can get one, but the new bumblebee looks like it's rare even in singapore. my brother and i asked a friend who went to singapore to get us two but there were none left. they were fully stocked on other figures tho.
don't tempt me. i've already spent way too much this month.
