Long Lost September

Wow, what an eventful September. Work's starting to get a little bit more quiet and man, I could really use a break, which I hope to get during and after Raya. Samantha's doing well and looks like she's settling in nicely.

I had a great time of reunion with two groups of people from the past. I used to live in JB for 3 years, during my tweens and first teenage year and those were the times when you made friendships that you know you can never make again ever. So I met up with Poh Yong and Charles after over 20 years and man, what a blast. It was really good meeting up with them and I'm planning to head down to JB for a visit hopefully October.

JB Primary Schoolmates Reunion (Sept 2007)

Then during the weekend, my cousin Allan (one of a pair of twins) got married and had his reception here in KL. They flew all the way from Melbourne where they had migrated over 20 years ago. So after the wedding we had a day of shopping out together and the rest of the family (including my cousin Phye Aun's family), durians and dinner at the end of the day.

Extended Family Get Together (Sept 2007)

Phye Aun's son was bugging him about going to see toys while we were at One Utama, so after lunch we popped over at U Parkson and I found a Star Wars 30th Anniversary R2D2. This latest R2 offering is too cool in that it has electronic components that make real R2 noises! Woot! :) It was on 10% sale so erm I got Darth Vader for good measure!
