Alaling Downloads

The band that I'm gigging with is called Alaling, spearheaded by the fun loving Chingz. It's mostly a pop outfit but the setup is quite similiar to AMTS I think, 1 acoustic, 1 electric, bass and drums.

Last week, while on a 'lawatan sambil belajar' at Mid Valley (You know, just to take a look at Transformers stock as usual), I made plans to meet Keith at Jaya Jusco to have a go around Mid Valley and beyond. I didn't bring any money because a) I wasn't expecting to find anything I don't already have and b) I don't think I should buy anymore hahaha. I arrived there early and saw some guy carrying around an 'Evolution of Bumblebee 2-pack'. Like meh, I got two already. I didn't see any on the racks so I thought they must be hiding the real goodies in the store. At just the right time, a store worker was walking out with a Limited Edition Metallic Megatron! (no link because it's an exclusive but will post pics soon). I jumped into her path and asked if I could have it, though startled, she let me have it.

So all I needed now was cash.

I radioed Keith who said he'll be late so I just hung on to the box and walked around the store. THERE WERE PEOPLE LOOKING AT ME AND MY BOX AND FOLLOWING ME AROUND. I had to endure 40 or so minutes of people tailing and staring, the fanboys' mouths watering. I went to the racks with all the loser educational toys and pretended to shop. They were probably waiting for me to put it back on the rack (as if!). Eventually Keith came and I asked one of the store workers if they had the Limited Edition Metallic Ratchet for Keith (I have one already ha) and the lady asked me "where did you get that", pointing at my box. My face turned pale, I mumbled something then went off to ask some other worker if they had the Bumblebee two pack for Keith. The workers were acting defensive and all and repeating 'no stock no stock'. Yea right.
