My brother has invited me to play with this band he's currently playing with. Tomorrow I join them in the studios to practice for a gig on the 20th at Hartamas and on the 28th in Singapore! I hear we should be getting paid a bit so it should cover the cost of transport since I was planning to go down to Singapore to visit my old JB friends and look for Ratchet and Ironhide, the two last remaining Autobots in my already vast collection of Transformers toys. I might get a few Optimus Primes and sell them here, the price difference is almost RM50, so the thought is tempting.
But I'm very much looking forward to a gig. I just want to play and AMTS doesnt seem so enthusiastic about gigs and with our no-drummer-self-imposed-hiatus, we haven't had any action in ages. Also this is one where I don't have to run the administrative side of things and lug most of the equipment myself. I'm just going to sit back and rock out catching the panties that's going to be thrown my way for sure haha.
