Merry Christmas or How we Baked the Cookies of the Impending Doom

This year the remnant of the 5 wives, Joel and I decided (actually Cas and I were voted out of the easier path of wrapping chocos boo!) to bake cookies. Most of us don't know how to bake and at the very last remaining days of the Christmas week with no plan no action call I was quick to alert the rest of how this plan was going to spell Impending Doom.

IMPENDING DOOM!

Joel, our only (confident) baker was going to guide us, till on the day before bakeday he asks "Hey wat time do you think we'll finish? My OCF friends are down!"

IMPENDING DOOM!

Casandra, our host had a stern warning from her mother that we must not destroy her very expensive industrial standard (yet compact) oven. Melting our batches of cookies down at 200 Celsius made us question the beast we were planning to ride. And did we destroy a light bulb? Oh no!

IMPENDING DOOM!

Joanne when contacted on bakeday -1 about getting ingredients with Lauren and I said "huh isn't bakeday Sunday?", to which I replied "Yes, but we have to get ingredients". She said "But I'm going out". With Joanne a yes is never a yes and a no is never a spatula.

IMPENDING DOOM!

Lauren always has an interesting plan but never a path to follow through. She needs a slave or boyfriend that can do it all. Unfortunately, no such man exists.

IMPENDING DOOM!

I was in charge of cleaning up utensils between batches and running around town when needed. Not too hard but there is always a feeling that you're not in control. Well we made it out alive. With pictures too!

I tried a pack of mine and it was soggy and funny tasting. I guess the cookies just don't like me :(

Well ok then, looks like the bad ones are just a minority. I've got 3 more packs, I hope there's not a bad one there.
