Man I hate Chinese New Year. There's nothing to do, everyone is busy and all the shops are closed. I can't do anything, no toy hunting, going out etc. Spent a good part of it drifting in and out of sleep and nibbling on cookies and nuts. Hardly drank water too, I'm kinda dependent on a work & gym routine for a scheduled water intake. There's not much for potable water here anyway and all that I drink for CNY is canned. It's always a lonely and depressing time of the year. I actually looked forward to getting back to work by the end of it. Next year, I 'll need to get myself a project of some sort.
Today I went back to the gym, got my after work routine sorted out. My appetite is back and I'm well hydrated. I think the colour (not blush ok) is returning to my cheeks. I'm going to sleep well tonight yea.
Last night I had a weird dream. I dreamt I had a leafless shrub attached to my right hand via a leash. This was no normal leafless shrub. It was a shitting leafless shrub. All through the dream the shrub would move around on its own volition, happily shitting all over the place. And I kept cleaning up after it. Like I said, weird.
Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year everyone.

I think mebbe it's my fear of children and child-rearing. Yea that's what I see babies as, a crawling, shitting hunk of stuff that needs cleaning up after.
