I made my way early in the morning to vote at the school down below my apartment. Slept at 4 because I went out toy hunting and shopping and got back really late. The bus service really does not work after 8! >:( I waited over 2 hours at some point. Didn't find anything I wanted to part cash with but I got myself a new pair of Tevas. My old one was worn out and I couldn't find the retailer who sold them until I checked the internet. I swear by those sandals, they last forever!
I got to the school and the first thing the SPR officer asks is your Nombor Saluran, which I assume is for queue balancing. Didn't work too well though, I was in Saluran 2 and it was the longest line! Saluran 3 had no queue and Saluran 1 had probably about 5 people. Once you get past the line, you hand the SPR officer your IC and she reads it out aloud. They hand you 2 sheets to vote, one for Parliament and the other for the State. You tick it behind a counter and put in your vote and go for breakfast!
