Watched Hulk last night, I prefer the first one but this one is pretty good too if you were a fan of the old TV-series and who wasn't if you were a kid at the time. Jennifer Connelly was perfection there and she pretty much trumped Liv. Sorry Juan! ;) However as a bigger fan of Norton, I do prefer his version of Banner to *ahem* Bana heh. I enjoyed the tank throwing and Hulk leaping of the first one and found the CGI infested action sequences of the 2008 version just a tad too much.
But I've always liked the Hulk. I read just a few of the comic books but I enjoyed the TV series. David Banner living on the run, solitary and desperate for a cure. It romanticised loneliness and isolation for me as a drama queen middle child lolz.
However, the subject of greater interest, is the upcoming Avengers movie! I don't know much or whether there will be 'standalone' origin stories for the rest of the Avengers but I hear the lineup will include Thor, Captain America and Ant Man. I expect a female superhero to join the cast too and Nick Fury should make an appearance. Maybe there will be a Cappy and Thor movie in 2010? Watch this space!
