I always thought we didn't have Debit Cards in Malaysia. Actually, we do. It's just not widely promoted by the evil banks and their evil credit schemes.
Yea thanks Zoe, I was thinking the same thing, if shops actually had the facilities for customers to use a debit card. I suppose it will happen if enough ppl use debit cards.

Yeah we do have 'em. HOWEVER, most shops don't have the systems (or do but don't use them) to do the whole debit thing.
Remember, our MyKads can actually act as debit cards if we put money in them. Or at least that's what the gov told us when the MyKad first came out.
