Revenge of the Fallen aka Transformers 2 toys were officially launched today. Toys R Us had a promotion with DiGi at 830am and of course, I just had to switch working dates and go to Tropicana City Mall where I'd hope to see fewer people, for obvious reasons. Keith was there earlier, I arrived about 5 minutes before opening time and there was already a line of about 30 people.
I heard that One Utama and Mid Valley's TRUs were sold out within 10 minutes. Although I'm not sure if that means only the popular figures or every thing but I wouldn't be surprised if it was everything. I mean, if I was there early and had nothing to buy, I'd pick up one of the smaller Scout-class toys just for consolation.
I did manage to get Leader-class Optimus Prime, Voyager-class Fallen, Deluxe-class Sideways, Scout-class Ransack (bi-plane Transformers FTW!!) and a Gravity Bot Bumblebee. I really wasn't planning on getting Fallen and Sideways, but the former looked too good in the box and they had one of those buy RM150 and get a RM25 voucher so hey what the heck.
