Staring Into The Void

I've been working on a solo project. This is Joe's fault of course, telling me I should go out and do my own thing. I am still using most of AMTS and with this taking its toll on my time (plus all that procrastination, staring into the void for inspiration), Adrian and I were given the boot from Alaling. It works out for the best anyway, Adrian is not a drum machine and I felt like I was getting nowhere there.

I'd like to feel it was amicable, at least nobody slapped nobody during a live show in another country.

So on to the solo project, it's a bunch of songs written for some special people. I figure that I'm not going to be famous, I like making music but it's really just about reaching one person. So I'm going to write music for friends rather than for any delusions of money or fame. I've started recording one. Or rather I've thrown a few hundred into recording one teehee. There are periods where I felt I didn't know what I was doing but I think the latest take is ok.

I just hope someone still cares about it when it's done. I am thinking about whether I should assume a 'stage name' and set up an account on MySpace or Facebook. I'd like to include at least one song in a possible AMTS future album, but we'll see. I probably won't be blowing my bonus this year (if I get one) on as many toys though.
