James Bond - Live and Let Die

Since Casino Royale, I've been downloading and watching every single JB movie since Dr. No. Most of them so far have been sucky. The only good ones to me, are Dr. No, From Russia with Love and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Yes, contrary to popular belief, Sean Connery has his share of bad Bond flicks. Many fans rate Goldfinger, but I think that show to me was the start of the Bond movie caricature and eventual parody source material for Austin Powers and the like (RandomTask haha).

WIth Live and Let Die, James Bond continued his downward trajectory toward suckfest. But the characters were colourful, Jane Seymour was pretty hot but pretty bland as a bond gurl. There were gadgets, there were car, bus and boat chases but pretty dismal spying. It tries hard to shoe in some comedy which works, but hey, can we get some focus here, "international man of mystery" and "goverment assasin" ok?

Daniel Craig detractors had issues with his Bond driving a Ford. How come no one went up in arms when Roger Moore drove a bus? It was a good bus chase scene as bus chases go though. And that tarot card trick? Naughty! ;) It's The Man with the Golden Gun next.
