It's been crazy hot this week and yesterday morning and afternoon was the hottest so far. This year. I think. Anyway I can't substantiate my claims but I'm sure MANY of you will agree. It was super hot yesterday. The mad traffic in the morning going in to work didn't help either. It's times like these that I romanticise on how wonderful it would be to be a survivor in a post-apocalyptic world just like in 28 Days Later or I am Legend. Who am I kidding?
I fantasize about that every day.
Anyway the strange bit about yesterday was how it suddenly decided to give us the biggest downpour so far too. This year. I think. Anyway, on the way to pick up the car from the workshop (need it tip-top for SUPER WEDNESDAY!) I took a 'Before' picture of a massively flooded storm drain and this morning, I took an 'After' picture. Observe:

It didn't rain today and I got back pretty early. Get a goodnight sleep for tomorrow... WE ROCK.

Ok so fantasise is too 'horny' a word to use. But I guess it is something I wonder with great eagerness. Imagine, peace and quiet in the city, no traffic jams, walk into the CD store to get any CD I want and any hot chick I meet I can use the pickup line "hey baby it's our responsibility to repopulate the earth."
