So I got my number back and bought a new phone. Well actually it's the same phone but this time in black. I have however, lost all my phone contacts, so please SMS with your name if you care to be in my contact book.
I had a funny SMS conversation with Lareina on Sunday. She sent me an SMS after Danny's birthday do with the rest of the oldies (see Lauren? Not petty). Of course I had no idea who it was, I just assumed it was one of the gang. Anyhoo, here's the conversation:
Unknown Number: Just +$2.90 to yr items below for danny's share (zero tax), pay JV:... (list goes on)
Me: Is this JV?
Unknown Number: Nope
Me: (Can't remember something like "who are you")
Unknown Number: Why sorry
Me: Cuz i lost my phone and contacts and dont know who this is
Unknown Number: Oh sorry to hear
I'm pausing here just to stop and emphasise that the SMSer on the other line's obviously out to wind me up. This was right about the time when I was deciding whether or not to shell out RM470 to reclaim another piece of my childhood.
Me: There is no escape i will find you out eventually
Unknown Number: Ooo scared
Me: For now i will list you in my phone book as 'idiot'
Idiot: k it's yr phone
Me: I would call someone to ask but that would just mean i give a hoot but i dont ok
Idiot: Ok I hope yr smses are free like mine then
Me: Thanks for the hint, i am still keeping the monicker, pity and here i was ready to move up to flirting
Idiot: Omg goodbye
Me: Lolz noob
